As this school year comes to a close for students and families, I want to share a change in my role and responsibilities at Circle. Beginning June 1, I will be taking a six-month sabbatical from my daily administrative tasks. The Board of Directors has generously given me a beautiful sabbatical for my personal enrichment and refreshment until January 2019.
My desire for this time of renewal is that GOD will define and shape more clearly where I can most effectively be used to serve parents, students, teams, artists, and leaders. I want to be a guide, a cheerleader, and a coach to all who I encounter. I want to continue to pour into our amazing leadership teams and I want to be a part of more “Only God” stories.
To be clear . . . I am not retiring, but I am seeking the LORD as to where I can be used with a greater and higher ministry impact for my remaining days.
Jim and I are very excited about the future of Circle Christian School. This week we are thrilled that Mark Caulfield has assumed the role as Circle’s new Athletic Director. Tim Werner has moved from the AD role and is being strategically positioned and coached to assume a greater management role in the future. Jim will remain as a full time member of the team and will continue to serve as the President and Chairman of Circle’s Board of Directors.
On Friday, May 11th I will be hosting a beautiful evening as I close this chapter of ministry. I hope that you will come to the Gifted event at Calvary Orlando. I would love to see you there. Learn more at www.lindawerner.org.
