Second Semester Grades and Attendance are due June 7 for all students in grades K-11. Parents are responsible to submit semester grades for all subjects (excluding Frameworks, Fundamentals, and Circle High School classes).
In keeping with Circle policy, there is a $100 late fee for failure to submit semester grades in a timely manner.
There is a 2 step process in submitting 2nd semester grades:
- ENTER the semester grades under the “Grades” tab in the column labeled “2nd”. This will be an average of January – May/June’s monthly grades. However, for FLVS and those with whom we have an Articulation Agreement, enter the 2nd semester grade given by the teacher.
- SUBMIT 2nd Semester grades from the Report Summary tab. Be sure to select “2nd”, then submit. The “2nd” will change to “2” if the submission goes through.
Attendance: Before you submit the semester grades be sure you have entered the appropriate number of attendance days. Required attendance from January to May/June is 85-90 days, making the total days 170-180. Your school year will not be considered complete if less than 170 days have been documented for the school year.
For Non-Circle Classes ( From An Outside Provider) in which the instructor issues the grades – parents need to send grade verification to the records office to Robin Smith in order for the grade to be put on the transcript.
Incomplete Courses: Select “Incomplete” as the semester grade until the course is completed and a final grade is available. These can be edited later even after the semester grades have been submitted.
