On Friday, November 10, Circle families and friends gathered for the Second Annual Denim & Diamonds Fundraising Dinner, Dance and Auction. The sold out event was a celebration of God’s blessings and a time of looking to the future.
Last fall, we raised over $50,000 through this event. Those funds were immediately poured into new S.T.E.M. classes, increased elementary sports offerings, expanded Circle Theatre programs, and additional classroom technologies. Thanks to the generosity of those that contributed over 800 Circle students, in grades K4-12, are enjoying more opportunities this school year.
This year the fundraising goal was set at $75,000 to further expand our offerings in academics, arts, and athletics. Our primary focus this year is to improve and enhance technology, especially in the areas of online user experience, classroom environments, and theatre production by expanding our partnership with Metro Church in Winter Springs.
We are excited to report that we have almost reached our goal (over $24,000 from silent auction plus nearly $50,000 from donations and sponsors). Thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and participants in the auction we will be able to move forward with our plans. Our purpose since our founding in 1985 is to offer choice, confidence, and community. Our mission is to encourage learning, strengthen families, and inspire legacies for God’s glory.
If you were unable to attend the event, you still have an opportunity to contribute. A year end gift to Circle will enable us to build on our 32 year foundation of partnering with parents in the education of their children.
