Theatre
Welcome to the Theatre track page of Circle School of the Arts where theatrically gifted students have the opportunity to match their God given talents with extraordinary opportunities.
Finding out who God made you as an actor is a great journey full of surprises, challenges, and rewards. Circle School of the Arts was created to help you succeed in your artistic pursuits.
This is the place where you will develop your gifts to match your potential, as you are mentored and taught by professionals. Courses are designed to focus on your individual development and for entry into university level programs. We do this via
- acting
- vocal and dialects
- theatre history
- plays and playwrights
- directing
- auditions
- portfolio preparation
- performances
You will learn to manage your own development, collaborate with other actors, and to reach high artistic standards.
All students will work on an IP (Independent Project) of their choosing each semester. These individual monologues or scenes are juried and many will be selected for performance at our Arts Night 2013.

Students who successfully complete the four year track will be eligible to receive an ARTS HONOR DIPLOMA distinguishing them and their time in high school as dedicated to a specific arts discipline. Having successfully completed four years of intensive study in a discipline and receiving an ARTS HONOR DIPLOMA will give the student a stronger advantage as they apply, audition, and compete for placement in universities and conservatories with other seniors graduating from public and private performing arts high schools.
