Annie Played to Sold Out Crowds

Circle Theatre Company finished a record-breaking season today with a completely sold-out run of Annie. More than 1,300 patrons attended this classic musical. For the first time in Circle Theatre history, Circle Theatre Kids, Circle Studio Players, and Circle Theatre Company came together to create a cast of 65 students! Performance highlights included Emma Thacker (CSA ’18) in her hysterical portrayal of Miss Hannigan, Noah Lyon (CSA ’19) as the iconic Daddy Warbucks, and Brynn Creasman (CSA ’18) and D.J. Hill (CSA ’20) as Lily St. Regis and the wonderfully slimy Rooster, respectively. Fourth-grader Daley Fosgate brought the title character of Annie beautifully to life, and Bella Lamb (CSA ’19) in her lovely portrayal of Grace Farrell rounded out the main cast. Supporting character highlights included Joseph South (CSA ’21) as President Roosevelt, Jared Khan (CSA ’21) as Butler Drake, and Chandler Talkington Fletcher (CSA ’19) and Lilly Deans (CSA ’18) in multiple roles. CTC, CSP, and CTK ensemble members created servants, Hoovervillians, NYC characters, and orphans.
