Sue McIntyre – Director of Guidance
suem@circlechristianschool.org
Sue’s role and responsibility is to oversee the guidance of high school students. She plays a very active role in assisting students in the development of a personalized course plan to match their God-given strengths with appropriate academic rigor. Early preparation for college is critical in this competitive era, so Sue provides seminars for parents and students including guest speakers from numerous universities. Sue also directs the annual assessment program including the NWEA Measurement of Academic Progress, College Board’s PSAT and from ACT the PLAN exams.
Sue holds a Masters of Education from the University of Toledo and a Bachelor’s of Education from University of Northern Iowa. She loves education, and especially loves working with parents and students as they prepare for their next station in life.
Tom Dumbacher – Dean of Students
tomd@circlechristianschool.org
Tom’s passion is to impact students and parents. He sees students as young leaders and loves helping them taste and see the great joy of knowing God intimately (1 Peter 1:8, John 10) and how to become strong in loving God and in loving their neighbors (Mark 12:29-31). He also loves to assist parents in their call to raise up great sons and daughters in God’s family. Tom views himself as an “ombudsman” who is here to create a positive, supportive, facilitating environment where it is safe for teachers, parents, and students to talk, be heard, and grow in Christ.
Tom also serves with the mission agency Church Resource Ministries as a Leadership Coach to Pastors and Missional Community Leaders and as an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Orlando Campus. Tom has a doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida and a masters in Missiology and Theology from Biola University.
Dianne Richardson – Director of High School Curriculum and Professional Development
dianner@circlechristianschool.org
Both of Dianne’s children graduated from Circle, went on to successful college experiences and are now in business and public education careers. While her children were part of Circle, she teamed with others to write and publish curriculum as well as develop and teach high school classes. After a 5 year hiatus from the field of education, she is excited to embrace the challenges and opportunities that will accomplish Circle’s vision for academic excellence. Her philosophy of education stems from a personal desire to do all things above reproach and with excellence as unto the Lord as well as providing powerful partnerships between parents, students and teachers that transform lives to the Glory of God.
